The First 40.7 is the perfect multi-use sailing boat that is both fast and comfortable. All the best features of the ideal cruiser racer can be found on the 40.7. Her hull and powerful fractional rig with no runners and an adjustable backstay produce a fast and stable ride. The mast is keel stepped for added security. With or without the racing sails you have a seriously quick package. For those of you on cruising charters we supply a quality Dacron cruising main and working jib. For racing charters we can strip the boat down and supply a full suit of racing sails and spinnakers.
When you step below a warm and comfortable interior awaits you. You’ll find three spacious double cabins with more than adequate stowage space for all your belongings. You’ll find a fully lined spacious heads compartment with marine toilet, wash basin and shower, with pressurised hot and cold running water, and you’ll find a spacious saloon, galley and nav area. The large, workable L shaped galley has twin sinks — again with hot and cold water — oven and fridge. The main saloon spans the entire width of the boat and has comfortable seating for up to eight.
