Antigua Sailing Week

26th April – 5th May

Charter of Yacht with an Owners Representative onboard whilst racing – £7,500

Full skippered Package – £9,000

Antigua Sailing Week is now accepted as the biggest international regatta in the Caribbean and is also one of the top five regattas in the world. The atmosphere both on the water and off is like no other event. The secret is to find the balance between serious racing and serious partying!

The races are scheduled from Sunday to Friday with a layday on Wednesday and the prize giving is in Nelson’s Dockyard on Friday evening. This gives you time for a day or two of training before the regatta starts and the last Saturday to relax.

The schedule tends to change slightly each year but in 2011 the racing class went like this:

Day 1 Sunday 24th April One race fairly short race.

Day 2 Two races off the south coast of Antigua.

Day 3 Same as day 2.

Day 4 Lay day. A day of relaxing, partying or catching up on sleep!

Day 5 Two races.

Day 6 One race followed by the prize giving party in the Dockyard that evening.
